Hand 1
MP2($18.85 in chips) MP3($22.10 in chips) CO($33.30 in chips) Button ![]() SB($24.25 in chips) Hero/BB ($25 in chips) UTG($20.10 in chips) UTG+1($18.75 in chips) UTG+2($24.40 in chips) MP1($6.05 in chips) Literally my first hand at the table , hero is dealt two Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in the BB. Preflop: UTG folds, UTG+1 raises to $0.50, 1 fold, MP1 calls, 2 folds, CO calls, 1 fold, SB calls, Hero raises to $3, UTG+1 calls $3, 3 folds. Flop: 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 10 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Hero bets $5 I suspect this might be standard, but I'm not sure. I was wondering if my preflop reraise was an appropriate size, and if I should continuation bet a King high flop OOP. Also, was my continuation bet too large (5 dollars into an approximately $7 pot), too small, or just right? Hand 2 SB($24.65 in chips) BB($22.20 in chips) Villain($42.90 in chips) UTG+1($30 in chips) MP($5 in chips) Hero($33.05 in chips) CO($7.50 in chips) Button($14.80 in chips) Villain in this hand has shown himself to be a very loose player, moderately aggresive. Knows a thing or two about the game most likely, but still capable of donking it up. Hero is dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Preflop Villain calls, UTG+1 calls, MP calls, Hero raises to $2, 4 folds, Villain calls $2, 2 folds. Flop: 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Villain checks, Hero bets $4, Villain calls Turn:J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Villain checks, Hero checks. River:8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Villain bets $10, Hero calls $10 Comments on all streets welcome, preflop and flop are standard I guess. In retrospect I think checking behind on the turn really sucks, because there are a million draws out there that I didn't notice at the time. I think I should have fired about $8 at the turn. My thinking for checking behind at the time was to control pot size, and I thought when villain called my large flop bet he could be trapping with a set (I know, monsters under the bed). |
