100NL PS, Set of K\'s, Confusing River
I have to call this don't I? Would someone really risk a flush getting checked down by check raising here? So confused.

Re: 100NL PS, Set of K\'s, Confusing River
ughhh no converter?
well all I can say is raise more on each street (and preflop). You should pot everything. as played, this is a tough decision and very read dependant - very likely that he has a flush here and with such an overbet your pot odds aren't looking too great. i think you can find a fold here, but it is VERY VERY tough. |

Re: 100NL PS, Set of K\'s, Confusing River
I'm calling and not feeling bad about it. I think KQ is more likely.
Make a standard preflop raise unless you have a reason not to. Standard preflop raise is 4xBB+1 per limper. Turn bet is fine, but your river bet was weak. Bet $21 and he might just call. I don't particularly like betting the entire pot on any street unless I'm trying to get my money in versus a known passive fish. Betting less makes worse hands more likely to call. No point in hitting top set and forcing everyone out. |
