ATs on bubble
Opponent had been stealing a lot, but the hands I'd seen had been solid. I thought I might still have some FE, so went all in. Should I have laid it down?
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t300 (4 handed) converter Button (t2090) Hero (t1920) BB (t1130) UTG (t2860) Preflop: Hero is SB with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Re: ATs on bubble
Unless the minraise was unusual from this player and it seems like a monster, I quickly push here.

Re: ATs on bubble
I believe your play was fine, especially since you should have quite reasonable folding equity. If Button pushed, calling should be terrible however. |

Re: ATs on bubble
Depending on the level, I think your FE here might be nil. Simply put, people don't like folding after they raise, even if they minraise.
You're getting called 75% of the time here, at the very least. I don't know if that's enough. |

Re: ATs on bubble
I don't think the mini-raise in this case meant anything (by which I mean I don't think she was aware of the 10BB 'rule', she was simply raising a goodish hand), this also meant I thought I might be able to get her to lay this down (although I agree with your reasoning in general).
BTW it was a 33. |

Re: ATs on bubble
Yeah, this is standard fish play, and standard fish play means you're getting called with a pretty large range here.
