China could never be a major military power in the sense of conquest (with the exception of Taiwan), all a country would have to do would be blow up all their dams which would cause the greatest flood the world has seen since Noah had to build an arc. That would decimate their food supply and make waging a war on foriegn soil impossible. I do think that they will eventually invade taiwan and the USA will just let them do it.
