Default AsKs hand from last night\'s Deep Stacks......

~300 left or so, I was moved to this table two or so orbits ago, and have seen nothing out of the ordinary. I pretty much used most of my time bank up on this one, deciding it was a push or fold situation. Thoughts?

800 chips is nothing to you, and I think you meant that he pushed all-in. This is a good place to fold.

I push. This is late position action. I don't see how you can fold AKs to button's limpraise. He could do this with a lot of hands besides AA and KK.

If it's unclear, he limped on the button, I popped it to 800, BB folded, and then the button limp-reraised 3000 more.

I didn't feel that calling ~20% of my stack OOP with AK was a good idea.

That's why I push.

I think stop and go is clearly preferable to a push. That said, I think I fold. A limp reraise is a limp reraise, and I don't wanna play.

A limpraise from the button is not the same as a limpraise UTG. You are ahead with pot odds against QQ. You are less than a 2-1 dog against KK.

I think there is a good chance villain has Ax or Kx and you are way ahead. Villain may fold to a push. Vilain could just be on a resteal rather than a planned limpraise.

Folding here is incredibly weak tight. If you fold AK SB vs. button, people will steal your chips left and right.

I agree. This is a push. AA here is very unlikely for the villain, and I think we may even have him dominated. Not to mention he folds a lot of 50/50s (99, TT, maybe JJ), and we get the dead money in the pot.
