Default FINALLY WSOP prelim event satellites online!

I sent a bunch of f*cking emails to Full Tilt poker and apparently they took my suggestion (my suggestion and mine alone, all credit goes to me) and are having prelim events satellites every day.

They seem to only be doing satellites for the $1500 events though. I want sats for the $2500's, since that's what's available the weekend I'll be in town...

i was involved in a thread about this yesterday in the zoo. someone posted that full tilt gives you what are essentially 3 $500 WSOP entry chips and $500 cash for the prize package to these. Being so, i believe you could build up these $500 WSOP entry chips, and if they actually hand you entry chips worth 500$, you could probably sell them - which means, if you won two of the $2k packages from FT, you could use 5 $500 chips for a 2500$ event, sell one chip (i would think you could get 490$ for them at the WSOP) and keep the other $1k they give you.

so far, however, they've been running these $2k wsop package tourneys only 2xs a day and they are $24 entry tourneys which means 1 in 83 get in. Avg entrants over the past few days has been like 110 players. However, these have been 7stud and omaha, etc...not HE so i suspect HE will bring a lot more players.

id like to see something like 150$ buy-in SNG, winner take all for the $1500 seat. OP, since you're the man, recommend this to your people at FT.

Rushmore, why are you boycotting FT? Just wondering since I was gonna deposit and I may not now.

Yeah Im just so sick of sites running satellites where 1 out of 70 get in. Why can't they just run normal satellites where 1 out of 10 or 20 qualify.

Agreed. I don't understand why they don't offer a mix. That way everyone's happy.

Sites are always hesitant to run big buyin sats because the prize money is not re-invested on their site, as is the likely case in most in-house tournaments. So many that usually get receycled and raked several times instead leaves the site and heads over to vegas.
