Stabbing at pots
Button open limps, you complete in the SB, and BB checks.
Flop is AJ2r. Button is obviously bad, and is pretty passive overall. BB is a bit unknown, but is a bit too loose, and can be too agressive sometimes. What hands do you bet here? A3? 44? KT? Do you ever try to check raise? Are there a lot of hands that you check fold, only because you would rather have better reads on your opponents? |

Re: Stabbing at pots
IŽd bet out any A and any J unless I could be sure the button autobets and I can check-raise but that is inconsistent with him openlimping from the button.
IŽd bet 44 if both of them know how to fold on the flop, if one of them is a caller I let it go, against these opponents I check-fold. KT is a bet-fold if you see a chance to take this down right away. Against this lineup I check-fold almost all nonpair-hands. I think when you ask questions like this the limit is pretty important. |

They will also be hard pressed to call without a pair (and chances are they didn't make one). You can't always bet it, and you have to bet your aces sometimes (though you can also check sometimes as Sthief recommends), but this is a profitable steal. |

Re: Stabbing at pots
Pot is SB. To be immediately profitable we need to win 1 in 4. You honestly think both blinds fold that often? Considering how passive button seems (he did limp on the button), I feel often these opponents like to just peel one on the flop to see what hapepns. If your steal isn't succesful, do you give up on the turn?
