AQs OOP
MP is 39/10/1.3, but i don't know anything else about him. Other dude is totally unknown.
Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. UTG calls, MP calls, 1 fold, SB completes, Hero raises, UTG calls, MP calls, SB folds. Flop: (7 SB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero bets, UTG calls, MP calls. Turn: (5 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players) What is the optimal line here? |

Re: AQs OOP
Pokerbob--
Just wondering...Are these guys unknow because it is very early in your session? Or because you might have gotten lazy multi-tabling & you havent been paying enough attention to hands your not involved in? Just somthing to think about just incase its so. Anyways... I bet/fold with no information. But I am not goot at 6max. |

Re: AQs OOP
I think we have to bet/fold. We are likely to have the best hand here with A-high.

Re: AQs OOP
Oh yea...btw..
Like I said I'd bet/fold the turn. Then check/call the river. |

Re: AQs OOP
I bet/fold. They could be calling the flop with overs, flush draws, straight draws. If we check, I think MP throws a bet out and it wouldn't be an easy call. What happens if one calls your bet? Do we check/call the river?

Re: AQs OOP
I don't really like bet/fold too much here if villains are capable of bluff raising A high kickers here...I know I am. That said, I don't know what else can be done other than bet/fold and make sure you call a raise often enough to stop em stabbing at the pot.

Re: AQs OOP
B/F,
Against aggressive bluffers i may C/C(I think my hand is good, want to induce a bluff but not fold to a raise from them(bluff raise)) and then C/C river or bet/call. Just an additional line to make this post have a tad more content as i've repeated the last few posters. |

[/ QUOTE ] it's a 3-way pot. bluff-raising here with A-high kicker isn't such a hot idea. i agree with the bet/fold turn and then c/c river line. With b/f turn you are forcing the issue to them and can easily get them to fold out their own ace. I've had heads-up hands where I put in a bet on the river on this type of board with ace-high and the other guy folds the bottom end of the full-house (doesn't happen often of course). |
