Default Create Adobe PDF\'s?

is there a (free) way to create Adobe PDF's from a Microsoft Word document? preferably somewhere online?

Hmmm. I haven't used Microsoft Word for much in a while. We'll assume you can't export it to PDF directly. Can you export to PostScript, or print to file in PostScript form? If you can do this, you might be able to use pspdf to convert from PostScript to PDF. pspdf is a tool you might be able to download from somewhere online; I think it comes standard with LaTeX distributions, for example.
