Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (10 handed) converter
Preflop: Hero is UTG with 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Hero raises, UTG+1 calls, 7 folds, BB calls. Flop: (6.33 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players) BB bets, Hero raises, UTG+1 calls, BB folds. Turn: (5.66 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets, UTG+1 calls. River: (7.66 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets, UTG+1 raises, Hero calls. Final Pot: 11.66 BB i mean how many people here haven't tried the UTG raise as a bluff. but after the flop, does it look good? |

Re: standard postflop after UTG bluff???
i thought he might be on a smaller flush, but would he cold-call in UTG+1? next posibility for a hand i still beat is 2 pair, AK, or more likely KQ. though his play looks weak-tight to me.

I'd reraise the river, no question about it.

Re: standard postflop after UTG bluff???
thanks. could you share your reasoning? very slim chances for 22 and 77, and no way he'd slow-roll KK-QQ like this?

Re: standard postflop after UTG bluff???
Well, there's more combinations of KQ/K7s/Q7s whatever than KK/QQ/22. 77 seems very unlikely. A worse flush seems pretty likely. Lots of combinations there. AK is possible. Who knows. You're ahead a lot here though. Not 3-betting seems pretty bad IMO. A two is very possible.

Re: standard postflop after UTG bluff???
Three bet the river. You're facing a worse flush more than half the time. Even if he did manage to hit some sort of weird full house, he probably won't cap it (unless he has quad 2s.)

Re: standard postflop after UTG bluff???
Do you have any read on villian? His VPIP and PFR% would be pretty valuable here. A decent player doesn't have a flush and he's not waiting till the turn to raise with anything less than a FH.
On the other hand, a typical party 3/6er... |
