Re: Turn Paradox II
I like a bet on the turn because I think he'll call with a variety of hands you're way ahead of (assuming his loose pre-flop standards are indicitave of his post-flop play, as is the case most of the time). I don't mind folding to a raise here since he's not terribly aggressive and your hand is not real strong. If you don't improve on the river I would prolly c/c unless it's a 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] or something similarily non-threatening.

Re: Turn Paradox II
i like a turn bet. however, if raised i call down. i dont think you can fold comfortably to a turn raise to a player like this, because you will be shown 77 or TJs with regularity. i have a feeling you will be raised a good amount of time on the turn, and a large portion of the time youll be ahead. my read has to do with this player's stat type. in my experience, a player with similiar stats is going to take shots at you on the turn.

[/ QUOTE ] The UTG player is most likely on somekind of a draw, whether it be an overcard draw, gutshot, oesd, flush draw or a 5 outer I'm not sure, but one thing I am sure of you will be ahead here the vast majority of the time, so you must bet to protect your hand. If youre raised on the turn, how you should react to that depends mostly on the opponent. Against a passive person you have an easy fold, against most players online you have a tough decision leaning towards a call. And if you do call the turn raise, be prepaired to call the river no matter what card hits since your opponent can have any type of draw. |

Re: Turn Paradox II
I bet and call a raise and possibly check-fold the river. A flush draw as well as JT/QT/QJ etc will all at least call a turn bet when they might not bet themselves. From his hands, I'd say UTG is on the loose side with avg aggressive, and that makes this a bet. If he were more aggro (> 2.0), then going for a check-raise is ok as well as just beting out and calling down a raise.
