I don't really like the weak lead here. Opponents at these levels are more likely to call big bets than raise small ones, so I would throw out about a full pot bet on the flop, 2/3 on the turn, value bet the river.

He played it well except the flop and turn bets just seem oddly small. But then again Im always suspicious of the minimum bet.

Flop bet is way too small. Bet $1 or so. Turn bet is way too small. Hand is easier to play if you bet strong on flop. Bet strong on turn. 2 pair looks cute, but it's a vulnerable hand. This board isn't too scary, but you can still lose to a LOT of hands. Don't minraise either.

Default One more thing...

If I had JQ, I'm calling your min-bet on the flop and turn then busting your ass on the river.

With an Ace on board, there's always a straight draw. Don't let it draw cheaply.

That said, you lost a lot of value on this hand.

I'd definately lead out on this flop for more, probably about a 3/4 - pot size bet. I am assuming that you were going to re-raise any raise, so why npt take the initative and bet heavy. On the turn, a stronger re-raise for value would make this hand a lot more profitable, and both allow for a larger river value bet. Granted, 2 pair is a vunerable holding, however, given the texture of the board, you can safely value bet and get into a larger pot.

Definitely bet more on all streets, especially the flop and turn. You are giving great odds to any draw, and your hand isn't incredibly strong to begin with.
