two 1-2 NL Casino hands
hand 1:
K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in the big blind, 6 or 7 handed. villain is pretty solid in UTG+2, raises to 15. i call (loose, i know). flop is K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] rag[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], i bet $25, he raises to $50, i call. i figure he has a higher king. turn is a 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. i check he bets $30, i reraise all-in (about the size of the pot), he calls. got into an argument with a friend whether or not flop call was warranted. hand 2: 77 on the button, villain is UTG and very tight. i want to say passive, but really the only thing he did post-flop was fold for an hour. he raises to 20, i call. flop is J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5x. he puts in 30 and i notice that he gets nervous when i touch my chips, i re-raise all-in (50 more). he thinks for 2 minutes and calls. turn is a scare king, river is a blank. |

Re: two 1-2 NL Casino hands
hand 1, there's already $105 in the pot and you only have to call 25 more when you can easily have 12 outs there. easy call.
hand 2, fold preflop. you're calling 20 bux when he only has 100 behind. play middling pairs in raised pots for set value against deeper stacked opponents who will pay you off or in multiway pots where you have a greater likelihood of justifying a preflop call for implied odds. |
