Default TT Hand -- Colgin v. Fish v. TAG

UTG is a terrible fish with LAG tendencies. MP3 is a good TAG.

I am most interested in what people think of my pre-flop play here.

I would either fold or 3-bet this preflop. Based on your descriptions it looks like MP3 could be trying to isolate the fish. This turns it into an easy 3-bet.

Calling worked out OK because it kept the pot smaller and allowed you to face UTG with 2 bets cold on the flop. But what if the blinds had decided to come along? That's why it's imperative to 3-bet. I think by 3-betting you will be able to take down most flops that your opponents whiff and also keep the blinds from being tempted to call.

I cap preflop, but thats me.

You have TT and the button against an isolation raise from a TAG? definitely a cap.

rest of the hand is very standard.
