Default Question on SSHE preflop suggestions

on page 82 of SSHE is the starting hand chart for loose games. It says to play KQs in EP facing a raise and a reraise.

On face, this advice doesnt seem to be +EV. Could someone tell me why it is?

It must be a mistake. When UTG raises and UTG+1 3-bets you get the hell out of dodge if you are next to speak. When 5 people have already coldcalled then I can see calling three cold but not straight away. Even otherwise loose players will tighten up an appreciable amount in this spot.

Hmm. Just reread it, and you're right. I dunno. I'm folding.

No it says to play AJs and KQs against a raise and a reraise.

Do we have different editions? Mine clearly says against a raise and a reraise that KQs is a playable hand from EP.

I suspect that it's predicated on the assumption that 6-8 players will see the flop regardless of the pf action.

Yeah, you're right. I don't like the advice, though. Then again, I've rarely played in a game like this.

I agree. I'd never see myself cold-calling 3 bets PF. Reraise with AA (possibly AKs or KK and AK if the raisers are LAG), otherwise fold.

I'd coldcall with AK and JJ if the raisers are unknown. I'd cap with QQ and AKs. Sometimes I might coldcall with TT.

Are you sure it's talking about calling 3 cold? "Playing from EP facing a raise and reraise" sounds to me like you have already limped and it's two more back to you.

Don't have my copy handy, so can't really comment with any authority.
