Road trip: Detroit & Gary
I'm off on a road trip next month, NYC to Gettysburgish to Toledoish to near Grand Rapids, then back home via Columbus.
My Toledoish stop on Saturday night could pretty easily be Detroit. Is it worth driving another hour to play some 1-2NL at Greektown or Motor City? If so, which would be better? Wednesday I'd usually head to Columbus, but I'll be about 4.5 hours from Gary. Is it worth the side trip (less driving Wednesday, but not getting any closer to Columbus, and arriving in Columbus a day later) for a visit to either Trump or Resorts? If so, which? Is a stop in Gary worthwhile if it's not out of the way? (I may be heading a little west of Chicago rather than directly to Columbus anyway.) |

Trump or Resorts in Gary is not worth a 4.5 hour drive. I usually drive 45 minutes to get there, and that's about right. I would not go out of my way too far.

Re: Road trip: Detroit & Gary
If you want to play NL, I think that Motor City's game is $50-$200 1/2, where Greetown is $50-$100. With a $6/half hour charge, I think the $200 game is a better bet.
