Default a2s UTG, flop 2 pair, bad river

Loose/passive 1/2 game on PokerPlex, loose pre-flop but very tight-weak postflop.

I have A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]UTG, limp. 3 callers, CO raises, SB folds, all call.

Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Checked to co who bets, I raise, all fold.

Turn: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

I bet, button calls.

River: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I check (intending to call) he checks.

Your thoughts on the river play much appreciated....

Seems like the river card makes chopping the worst you could do so why not bet it?

Know what, you're right...AND I'm an idiot. If the king was a 9, what's your play?

Yea, value bet the river, with the king on the board you dont have kicker problems. Your either winning this or chopping or your opponent severely misplayed his hand.

What does everyone think of limping in UTG with A2 suited? I think I muck this pf.

If play is very weak as you described post-flop, I'm betting the river.

Either button folds, he pays off with a K, or you chop. Probably in that order.

If the King was a 9 I'd check-call.

It would take a great game to limp this UTG. I fold this most of the time.

Hmm...what suited kicker does it take for you to limp UTG?

That makes it closer but I'd still bet. I think it's very unlikely AQ or AJ would raise here having shown no aggression to this point. You'll see KQ, QQ, JJ and worse call you though.
