K8 in BB short, everybody limps
33. the utg limp is not suspicious. he's a little loose.
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (5 handed) converter Button (t1300) SB (t885) Hero (t440) UTG (t3525) MP (t1850) Preflop: Hero is BB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. UTG calls t100, MP calls t100, Button calls t100, SB completes, Hero checks. Flop: (t500) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 players) SB checks, hero? |

Re: K8 in BB short, everybody limps
wow! a family pot at this level
honestly? i'd make a feable attempt to get HU with UTG by pushing PF. the loose-caboose will certainly take the bait, and might just isolate with what is now a very large pot....with, oooooh QJo maybe? i know you want to push this flop (which i would btw), but the counterfeited-K problem that you're likely to be facing could possibly have been relieved by thinning the heard a bit PF. you only have like four of those BB thingies...this limp-fest is as good-a time as any (sweet pot!) to get back in this thing. certainly no more of a gamble than pushing a "favorable flop" (like this one) into the entire field. with 0 FE, your chances of getting to open-push with better are slim. |

Re: K8 in BB short, everybody limps
Gotta push that preflop IMO, and I do not think its close.
Already 400 chips in the pot, before action gets to you. I push this with 800 chips also. You are the shortstack you need to accumulate some chips, even if it means to gamble. |
