Absolute Poker: Am I taking crazy pills?
How are there so many Absolute Poker threads! This could be the worst place in the world to play your poker at. Why you ask?
1. Nobody plays there. There are better games elsewhere, lots better games. 2. Their software is terrible 3. They can throw a million dollars in your bonus account, but it is still not going to change the fact it clears at a rate of 10x. There are better bonuses out there. Even if you clear all the party bonuses, the cryptos, etc. with time to spare, it really isn't worth it still...

With rakeback and bonuses @ 3/6 you can add about 1BB/100 to your win rate. 2. The games are not any tougher than anywhere else on any given night. As a matter of fact, there are quite a few soft spots. 3. The software is not great, but it is not as bad as people make it out to be. Then again I do not play music, surf, play video games, or download porn while I play poker so maybe it moves faster for me. My only complaint is that Poker Stars and absolute software don't play nice together and sometimes lock each other out. As for 10X clearing, it still gives you more freedom than the Party 7-times reloads, where you are playing all your hands there for a 3-4 days straight, and don't have the luxury to check out games elsewhere for fear of losing all your bonus. Besides they are crazy over there. 3 more reloads this week. I can't keep up.
