Well I guess that would depend on your standard of living. If you have no real debt and still live at home than quite possibly. Otherwise I think you're going to need to play higher stakes.

If you can make 7BB/100 and 8 table you could probably make 40k a year.

seems like a whole lot of work for 40K a year and no benifits. IMHO its not worth playing poker professionally unless you make at least 75K a year and live somewhere inexpensive. 40K with no benifits is really closer to 25ish I think and that doesnt get you too far these days.

Actually if you live in a low cost of living state like IN, and don't live too lavishly, and 8 table, I think you probably could, but you'd make <50k for sure.

Before Party raised their rake, my old roommate made $500/week multitabling .50/1 limit on Party <40 hours a week, so I think it's doable.

The thing is, once you get good enough to make that kind of $, you will definitely move up to $50 and probably $100 tables.

I 4 table, but you could easily autopilot 8 tables PP $25 with 2 monitors.

Grinding it out at Party 25NL for a living may be possible, but it would be hell. I don't know how other people manage to play 8 hours a day, but there's no way I could do it (unless I'd starve otherwise, I guess).

Anyone who can beat 25 can probably beat 100, or at least work towards it after building up a roll.
