Fold preflop. And you beat enough 9s since he would play any 9 here in the SB to make it a call on the river. I don't really like your line at all though. As stated, I fold preflop. I also lead the turn.

I don't think this was a loose call at all.
I can't lead turn, I raised because someone bet before me (lol? [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img])

Why don't you like the line ?

He's played it exactly like he's a donkey slowplaying open trips. I wouldn't be surprised to see any kind of 9 here, and you have an excellent kicker. I'm not folding here with so much money in the pot.

Interesting to hear your perspective because I mostly thought there wasn't any logical way I was ahead there.
That would make my call less loose than I envisioned.

Would you raise the flop right away ? Raise more on turn ?
