A read would be nice, but assuming a typical 5/10 opponent (sometimes semibluffs, slows down if resistance):
Hero raises and folds to 3-bet, takes (hopefully) free showdown UI.
Makes it look just like you have a queen (or possibly JT), if he 3-bets he likely has one of those hands. If he is bluffing you can get him to fold his 6-outer. If he is on a draw you make him pay extra. If he has a 9 it costs the same as calling down, and if you hit on the river you can gain 1bb.
