How much FPP per hour on poker stars
Assuming you play fairly tight on full ring tables, how many FPP at the lower limits?
Can you guys also show the math? For example: 1 table * 50 hands /hr * table * 5 hands raked = 5 FPP / hr / table I just want to see how many hours I need to put in to get that porsche. :-) |

Re: How much FPP per hour on poker stars
Well, I have an extremely small sample size as today was the first time I played full ring at Stars but here is what I did today at .5/1
744 hands 113 FPPs (actually 226 since they were doubled) I also was getting 60 hands per table hour 60 hands per hour per table * 0.15 raked = 9 FPPs /hr/table I played 5 tables so that would be 45 FPPs / hr Only 9.5 years away from that Porsche! |

Re: How much FPP per hour on poker stars
How did you calculate 9.5 years?
If i made 10FPP/hr/table, played 10 tables and 10 hours a day. That would be 1000FPP / day. Playing every day of the year, it woudl take ~8 years to hit the 3 million FPP required for the porsche |

Re: How much FPP per hour on poker stars
yeah, you have to consider the FPP multipliers for the different VIP levels. I played about 6 hours today, 2/4 and 3/6, 6 tabling, and earned 2,000 FPP with the 2x multiplier.

Re: How much FPP per hour on poker stars
can you 10-table on Stars??
I thought the max was 5 but maybe they changed this. Also - trying to earn FPP's on .5/1 tables isn't going to happen very quickly. Just lookng at the structure and how large the pot has to be to be raked for an FPP. |

Re: How much FPP per hour on poker stars
I thought that Pokerstars had extended the total # of tables one could play when Party extended theirs, and I thought it was more than 5. However, it is listed as 5 on the bonuswhores webpage.
Last I heard, at the $1/2 level about 1/3 of the hands were receiving a FPP. This would be about 20 FPPs per table-hour. But this number is going to be different at different levels. So assuming 20 FPPs per table-hour x 5 tables would be 100FPPs per hour on average. Of course, as you move up in levels the FPPs accumulate more rapidly. SILVER = 1.5x (1500FPPs in a month to reach this level) GOLD = 2x (4000FPPs in a month to reach this level) PLATINUM = 2.5x (10000FPPs in a month to reach this level) So in order to maintain PLATINUM status at the $1/2 level you need to be logging 40 hours per month. Not the hardest thing in the world to do. I just wish we could do more tables at a time on Stars. Can anybody confirm that is is just five? Is it five ring and then we can do tournaments too? Or five total? Maybe if we collectively nag we can get this number increased. Also, in another thread I suggested that those who are looking for a cash option for the FPPs simply get an entry to one of the Sunday guaranteed tournaments and unregister for the tournament. Then sell the T$ you will receive in the multi-table tournament forum, where they will go quick at 90%. I, however, plan on possibly playing a WSOP event and/or cashing out some T$ to use in SNGs. |
