PokerStars Game #3354935556: Hold'em No Limit ($5/$10) - SB posts small blind $5 BB posts big blind $10 *** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to hero [5c 6c] UTG Villain2 (500): calls $10 1 fold Villain1 (1,250): calls $10 1 fol Hero (2k): calls $10 2 folds sb: calls $5 bb : checks *** FLOP *** [4c Ts Kc] SB: checks Villain2: checks UTG: checks Villain1: checks Hero: checks *** TURN *** [4c Ts Kc] [9c] SB: checks BB: checks Villian2: bets $65 Villian1: raises $65 to $130 Hero calls $130 sb folds bb folds Villian2 folds *** RIVER *** [4c Ts Kc 9c] [5d] villain: bets $1108.25 and is all-in hero: folds This is a standard "thanks for letting me get away from my flush cheap" right. On the turn, when villain makes the min raise I thought perhaps he had JQ. On the river, he bets 1100 into a 400 pot. He must put me on a strong hand on the turn if i can cold call a raise and a reraise, so i dont see how he could possibly pull this on a bluff. He definetly doesnt have any reads on me that i am weak tight or anything like that. I just wanted to make sure everyone else thought this was an insta fold. also, who likes reraising the turn or betting the flop when checked to. |

Re: Hyper overbet
ummm, not an instant fold...maybe get a read on the opp. If I was villain I'd probably fire allin on that river no matter what I held too since you were last to act and checked on the flop it's hard for him to put you on a flush draw.
