Default AKo - I played back at the PF raiser, first time trying this

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (9 handed) converter

saw flop|<font color="C00000">saw showdown</font>

UTG+1 ($24)

MP3 ($23.50)
CO ($32.20)
Button ($21.15)
SB ($27.30)
Hero ($34.85)
UTG ($13.95)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="666666">1 fold</font>, UTG+1 calls $0, <font color="666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="CC3333">CO raises to $2</font>, <font color="666666">2 folds</font>, Hero calls $1,50,50, UTG+1 folds.

Flop: ($4.75) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="CC3333">CO bets $2</font>, <font color="CC3333">Hero raises to $8</font>, CO calls $6.

Turn: ($20.75) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
<font color="CC3333">Hero bets $12</font>, CO folds.

Final Pot: $32.75
<font color="green">Main Pot: $20.75, won by Hero.</font>
<font color="green">Pot 2: $12, returned to Hero.</font>

Results in white below: <font color="white">
No showdown. Hero wins $32.75. </font>

I have rarely played back at a PF raiser like this unless I had at least something to fight with. After I made the turn bet, he took quite a while before folding, I wondered if he had JJ or TT or maybe AK as well or very possibly a weaker A. I was shocked to see him just call the flop raise, which to me says an underpair or AK.

turn: thats not a good bet, as probably 90% of the time he will call there. when he calls that flop bet he should be deciding to call down the rest of the way if blanks drop. he should definently be deciding to call a turn underbet.

flop: id much rather bet out than check raise, as it is jsut a cheaper way to steal. he either has a hand he can call with or he doesnt. the c/r doesnt make him much more scared, especially at the skill level he is probably at
