Default Big Stack AA Hand at PP 100NL (6-max)

I have been at this table for a few hours and managed to run my stack up to over $500 playing very loose and very aggresively. I bluffed off some chips leading up to this hand, thus the $357 chips stack at the time this hand was played.

For this particular session I was 43% VP$IP, 15% PFR, and post flop gggresion of 2.74 through 270 hands (these are the only numbers I pay attention to).

My principle opponent in this hand was was 62% VP$IP, 15% PFR , and 1.62 post flop aggression. I had 108 hands on him.

I did not have playerview or PT running at the time the hand was played (because they run really slow), but I had a good sense of how he was playing.

Party Poker 100 NL (6-max)

UTG ($272.28)
Hero ($357.58)
CO ($239.63)
Button ($46.85)
SB ($330.35)
BB ($139.25)

Hero is MP with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
.

Pre-Flop UTG calls $1, Hero raises to $6, CO folds, Button Calls $6, SB calls $5.50, BB folds, UTG folds.

Flop ($20-rake, 3 players): J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)

SB checks, Hero bets $19, Button folds, SB calls $19

Turn ($58-rake, 2 players): 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)

SB checks, Hero bets $56, SB calls %56.

River ($170-rake, 2 palyers: 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)

SB checks, Hero bets $168, SB raises all-in (this is a raise of about $80), Hero calls

Final Pot ($666.x):

55% is pretty good.

with such a high river aggression, I think I check behind when I see passive play.

Ouch. Looks like you poked at a hornet's nest and got the expected result.

Exactly. Also, WTSD% is a great number that you should pay attention to. It's how you tell a smart lag from a dumb lag.

I might slow down on the turn a little bit. I'd probably bet 35-40. As for the river, I probably check behind with an overpair. After being check raised on the river I'd have to call getting that price but I expect to come out on the short end here.

I think you lose here to a straight very often.

Check the river and it's not close. I probably also be a little bit smaller on the turn. Say, 2/3 pot, planning on folding to a c/r.

I would have checked behind on the river. I don't see you bluffing him out and the only draw has hit, and there is no need to lose more chips to a straight or possible trips.
