Moving from Party 5/10 up? -- Coffee Talk

Oh jeeze...I'm feeling a little verklempt...talk among yourselves. I'll give you a topic:

If you look at party 10/20 table lists on a typical night there are a few full ring tables, a few more 9 max tables, and then 6 max (aside: 9max...uh..ok). However, it looks like there are significantly many more full ring 15/30 games. Do most people skip 10/20 on their way up and go straight to 15/30? In other words, what's the deal with 10/20 on party? What about 15/30 --> 20/40 --> 30/60? Do most people skip 20/40 here too? I'm confused...

I think you should learn how to play shorthanded and tackle the 10/20 short-handed games.

I'm raping 5/10 full, but I can't beat 5/10 short-handed yet. I'm not moving up until I can.

Have you played any 5/10 6-max? I think you need some of that before moving into the higher limits.

I don't get it. Is this directed at me? Can you guys just tell this from the cluelessness in my post?

Anyhoo, let's say I play 5/10 (6max) for a bit, get good, win win win, and I'm ready to move up. Then what -- go straight to 15/30 land (i.e. pass 10/20, boardwalk and Go?)

10/20 is fine. Its not like there's a limit of games that is one giant sinkhole. Online I've played as high as 10/20. So, no, I didn't skip 10/20 and jump to 15/30. Other guys did. Just do something.
