Default Bad QQ Laydown

30+3 PP, 110 left, ITM.

Blinds at 400/800, I have t11k. UTG with 7.5k minraises, UTG+1 pushes 4k. I get spooked by the minraise, put +1 on at least one overcard, and maybe UTG on a monster, so i lay down.

Too weak? Usually I push here, but QQ gets me waxed a lot.

Better lines?

Thanks

P

One overcard and MAYBE a monster?? I only laydown queens if I'm certain someone has aces or kings and this is rare. One opponent has 5 bb's, the other has < 10. Their range of hands is most likely pretty wide. I used to get scared by utg min-raises but after all the crap I've seen people do it with, it can mean weakness just as much as strength. Having bad experiences with queens is no excuse, this should be a push IMO. You just may lose again, but if not, the final table will be that much closer.
