Mistake on the turn?
Table is loose and passive; CO carries hands too far and
has lost at showdown with poor holdings several times over 20 hands. Re: Mistake on the turn?
Nah, turn and river are fine there. Can't slow down with top set, the only two hands that beat you are 75 and T7 and those aren't particularly likely. Value cap 100% of the time.

Re: Mistake on the turn?
I'd say that CO's raise on the turn most likely represents a small set and I'd fold here.

Re: Mistake on the turn?
Raise pre-flop, 99 is a good hand yo.
Flop easy-mode. Turn... ack? You still have the overpair (so folding barring some crazy read) is out, but random donks waking up on the turn is never good. I probably call and look to either counterfeit his two pair or spike a miracle set (which you did -- good job. This will be an extremely important skill to master as you move up limits). River is standard. You hold the third nuts -- and if he played 57 or T7 like that than you'll get your chips back at some point in time. -K |
