Default 2 River non-Bet Hands

I felt dirty not betting the river in these 2 hands. Should I have bet?

Hand 1:

My opponent here is passive post-flop, and seems to take odds he shouldn't.

Hand 2:

I felt especially dirty on this one, since ever sign pointed toward my opponent drawing to something that never came. Bet something hoping for a call here?

hand 1, I'd wait until the turn to raise it. Put SB on flush draw. probably bet half pot on river. He might call with a lower pair.

hand 2, maybe bet 2/3 - 3/4 pot on flop. Rest looks fine

hand1- probably on a flush draw, small chance hes on a AdJx, or a scared bottom-2 that he flopped and froze up w/ on the single suit flop. bet 1/2 pot

hand2- full pot the flop or check. on the turn, try to take a free one cause if you get called on the flop by 4-5 people, you are getting called again

The first hand doesn't matter much because most of the time he just folds his ace high anyway. Sometimes maybe he'll have paired up on the river or something, but I think this is roughly cancelled out by the times that he has trapped you with a botched flush or set.

I have no idea what you are doing in the second hand unless I am completely misreading the board or something.

You can safely assume that I don't know what I'm doing, either. I'm a NL rookie, came from a longer limit tenure.

On the turn on the second hand, I figured I had the best hand, and at usually the best draw. Therefore I bet half the pot.

I'm guessing this is bad. What should I have done?

Im not sure what the problem is here with the second hand. I think you played it just fine. I am still thinking about the first one.
