KK vs flop, turn donk on draw-heavy board
Just sat down at this table and watched Villain donk a PFR out of a hand with a similar board, then check-fold the river. No other reads on him.
Ultimate Bet 2/4, 10-handed FTR converter on zerodivide.cx Preflop: Hero is MP2 with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. UTG calls, UTG+1 (Villain) calls, 1 fold, Hero raises, 5 folds, UTG calls, Villain calls. Flop: (7.50 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players) UTG checks, UTG+1 bets</font>, Hero raises</font>, UTG folds, UTG+1 calls. Turn: (5.75 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) UTG+1 bets, Hero calls. River: (7.75 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)</font> UTG+1 bets</font>, Hero raises</font>, UTG+1 calls. Final Pot: 11.75 BB I feel wimpy for not raising the turn, but Villain's persistence confused me. The 3 spades and straight possibility didn't help. Thoughts on the turn? |

Re: KK vs flop, turn donk on draw-heavy board
I like how you played it.
If you raise him on the turn he'll fold a crappy hand. They way you played it, you got the most possible out of him. |

Re: KK vs flop, turn donk on draw-heavy board
I would've raised the turn, if I didn't have the K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I might just call as well. Although I don't know if that's correct.

I don't give a lot of credence to this betting sequence against a habitual donk bettor. He deserves a swift turn raise in the ass.

there is a similar hand on the board already. ok you need to raise the turn. i think this is standard.
