Default Top Two Pair Good?

The table was really passive/loose preflop, which is why I called with ATo UTG.

UTG+1 is 31/7 over 300 hands.
MP1 is 12/2 over 50 hands. He's fort knox. Tight and hasn't showed down a hand yet.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (10 handed) converter

BB ($24.22)
Hero ($23.90)
UTG+1 ($17.10)
UTG+2 ($17.80)
MP1 ($25)
MP2 ($11.50)
MP3 ($9.65)
CO ($35.50)
Button ($26.70)
SB ($25.45)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.10.
Hero calls $0.25, <font color="#CC3333">UTG+1 raises to $0.5</font>, UTG+2 calls $0.50, MP1 calls $0.50, <font color="#666666">5 folds</font>, BB calls $0.25, Hero calls $0.25.

Flop: ($2.60) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(5 players)</font>
BB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $2</font>, UTG+1 calls $2, UTG+2 folds, MP1 calls $2, BB folds.

Turn: ($8.60) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $8</font>, UTG+1 calls $14.60 (All-In), MP1 calls $22.50 (All-In), Hero calls $13.40 (All-In).

River: ($67.10) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players, 3 all-in)</font>

Final Pot: $67.10

Hmm...top two pair good? Internally, I went something along the lines of..."Ah crap, one of them has a set. Especially the rock. Oh well, I'll call. There's too much money in there and I might win...I hope they caught A8..." Were my lines good?

Did he end up having a set of 8's or 4's?

very tough, but i call getting 4 to 1 for my money. I know MP has set, but "4 to 1" for MY MONEY!!!

Maybe he picked up straight and flush draw and is developing his game. He showed you set right?

To Hero's surprise, MP1 [ QUOTE ]
picked up straight and flush draw and is developing his game

Hero has Ad Th (two pair, aces and tens).
UTG+1 has Ah Jc (one pair, aces).
MP1 has Jd Qd (high card, ace).
Outcome: Hero wins $66. MP1 wins $1.09.

I'll turn it around and ask now, was what MP1 did a "good move"?

No, MP1 made a bad play. He doesnt have a hand yet; , UTG+1 obviously does, so MP1 is drawing. He needs you to play. He should have saved money and not tried to shut you out.

But hes a nutpeddling low limit player 'developing his game.' He's on his way to the right idea, but not there yet.
