Re: AA ok?
Hand 1, I like raising the flop because the hand is now HU and he is aggressive enough that waiting to raise the turn could be costing you bets. With the way you played it I cap the turn and call river if he bets. He is pretty aggressive and I really doubt a 31/21 would cold call from the SB with a 3 or JJ so I think you are ahead more than you are behind here. I think he will have AJ, KJ, QJ, JT, or a fancily played QQ or KK far more than he has A3 or 66.
Hand 2 is very standard in my opinion. |

Re: AA ok?
Hand 1:
On a paired board I like raising the flop because they dont give you the proper credit for it so they might reraise you with a J and you can just call down from there. The problem with raising the turn is that although you are ahead most of the time, he will fold a lot of worse hands so you gain 1BB and reraise almost only stronger hands and you lose 4BB when calling it down. Thats plain awful. You are not scared of anything except a 3 on this board, you dont have to charge any draws so its better to let him bet into you again on the river. He certainly wont have many outs if he is behind. IŽd consider raising the riverbet after calling the turn, he ll reraise less hands on the river because he gives you more credit for a hand and the flush completed. If you cant fold to a Reraise though, IŽd just call the riverbet, too. |
