Pot Odds/Implied Odds
I have a table that lists the odds from flop-to-turn and flop-to-river.
when should i be using the flop-to-turn statistics instead of the flop-to-river, and vice versa? |

Re: Pot Odds/Implied Odds
Use flop-river odds when you've got a hand that has showdown potential and a likelihood of improving, or a very strong draw. Examples, you're holding A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and the flop is A86r, or you're holding 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and the flop is 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
Use flop-turn when you've got an unmade hand that's probably strong enought to play if you catch an out on the turn but not if you don't. Examples: AKo on a flop of T52r, or 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] on a flop of KT9r (no hearts). |
