Default Royal Vegas bonus

Has anyone had experience with Royal Vegas? Apparently they have a 100% up to $100 on the first purchase. I'm wondering about the site's trustworthiness and what it's like to clear a bonus there.

Actually it's 40% bonus up to $40 + $10 automatic bonus. I believe the $10 is automatic if you deposit any amount.

To get the 40% bonus you have to play a certain number of raked hands at 0.25/0.50 or higher.

I have an account there, they seem fairly reputable, although the interface leaves alot to be desired.

I got the free 10 dollars and played there fine. The flops did have an awful alot of paired cards, but it all worked out for me. I really like the live poker help. They usually know waht they are doing.

Thats funny, my flops all appeared to have strange suit sonfigurations in them, they had between 1 and 3 EVERY TIME. I emailed customer service about it and they blew me off like I was some drug crazed mainac. I emailed them and asked them if they knew who I was, then they eamiled me back and said, "Yes, your name appeared at teh bottom of your email". They are so guilty if I could only prove it, I think we could open up this whole scam that has taken over all our lives.

Oh well, better luck tomorrow.

Forgive me, but I don't think you should say, "Do you know who I am?" Unfortunately, that sort of talk can often work against you when said to tired, bored, and over-worked Support Staff in any thriving business. Their bottom-line thinking is that they don't need you as an individual, and that the customer is always wrong, in any case. They believe that their immediate boss will support them in anything they say or do, because he has the additional pressure on his shoulders to try to keep a happy, motivated team going, even, ironically, at the cost of a customer or two.

We know that the average punter in life knows sweet f-all about anything that they are not seriously involved and interested in. Take libel and slander, for example. Not many of us know which is which, and even fewer know the true legal definition, although we hear these terms bandied about the boards fairly often. We do believe, however, that someone somewhere knows and will give us proper and accurate advice when we need it.

The point with everyone on these boards is that we know poker, poker rules, and poker terms. We know far more than the average punter. We know about rake, and affiliates, and Dutch Boyd. So when we are speaking with a member of a Poker Room Support we are speaking with a level of knowledge that is as high, if not higher than his. And when he tries to fob us off with shite information that would fob off 80% of his customers, like, the reason we received a letter from CoolCasino was because they are affiliates, then we know it is shite information, and we can argue and push for the truth from a position of knowledge. Not because he should know who we are.

It is worrying, though, that much of the information given by Support Staff is incorrect, which we, being knowledgeable because of being involved and interested in poker, know to be the case. We ask so-called experts for confirmation of something or other, expecting proper and accurate advice, and we receive shite in return.

One of the most valuable aspects of this forum, call it the Zoo, or whatever you want, is that the advice here is more
often than not proper and accurate, it's freely and generously given, plus it is sometimes very useful, indeed. If TylerD hadn't pointed out that the Empire bonus letter had come from CoolCasino and if it had been some sort of scam, I would bet my bottom dollar that most of us, (well, at least I), would have fallen for it.

There may be some flaming, and arguments, and trolls, and hassle, but I say thank you to all those who give accurate information and advice from your position of knowledge, whoever you are.

Long Live The Zoo.

Ok, take my humor and make somethign serious about it, but evern though you got off track with my post, everything you speak is very much true, the zoo is a family(a very disfunctional family, but family for sure) and we are all better off for it, we learn and its funny how often we see BS posted here and can all pretty much identify with it as soon as we see it. Keep up the good work guys.
