Two pair gone bad
UTG+2 was fairly loose-passive (40%/5%) and Button was tight passive (18%/2%).
If there was going to be a bet on the flop, it was much more likely to come early, than late. So I didnt want to go for a check/raise on the flop. Checking the turn felt weak, but it wasnt in love with my hand, and I wanted to see how the action shaped up. Thoughts? Re: Two pair gone bad
How are Villans' postflop numbers?
I think preflop and flop are fine. I'd bet out this turn and reevaluate if it comes back to me. Checking here IS weak, and I think it may have induced usually-passive opponents to take a shot at you. The way you played it, I think on the turn you're getting between 4 and 5 to 1 to draw to a possible 6 outs, and it's not inconceivable to me that you still have the best hand. Depending on their agg numbers (and especially whether or not you think this might get 3-bet/capped) I think I'd probably call down, here. |

Re: Two pair gone bad
Well, that sucks.
I was gonna advocate a turn bet, but that doesn't accomplish anything since you are almost always folding to a raise. I would call if it was 1 bet back to me, but a bet and a raise means i'm gone. Nh. |

Re: Two pair gone bad
Postflop they were 1.00 and .69 respectively.
Seeing as how universally scary this flop is, I wasnt really worried about a worse hand talking a shot at me. I'm curious as to your evaluation of my hand on the turn though. Where do you see 6 outs? If I'm behind to a K, then I'm drawing to 2 outs. I'm ahead of flush draws and gutshots, but am headed to a likely chop vs an ace. Not sure I see 4.25:1 as enough, with action still behind me. Re: Two pair gone bad
I think I bet the turn and depending on how many it is back to me (one and not two?) probably call down. Someone with an ace could have waited until the turn to go for it.

Re: Two pair gone bad
How many times do you see a flop like that and you get 5 players calling your bet. I don't blame you for not leading out on that turn. I would be very surprised if you were ahead here. NH

Re: Two pair gone bad
At best I'd say you're splitting at this point. With that many callers on the flop and your Tens now counterfeit, I'm fine with a turn check, although I would tend to bet-fold here. The bet and raise make this an easy fold for me.

Good fold on the turn.
