How do u read hands over the internet?
Ok the subject mostly clears what I would like to know
From your experience how do I train to read opponents? What should I look for/do to learn this? |

I don't think hand reading is much different online that it is live.

Re: How do u read hands over the internet?
Look at the cards on board and the way your opponent is betting and try to factor in any previous tendencies he/she has shown. Same as in live play.

Re: How do u read hands over the internet?
for example, in a simple form:
your opponent makes a strong pre-flop raise. the flop brings an ace, and he starts betting it is obvious that he has an ace, with a good kicker. or let's say that he shows littl strenght preflop, and the flop brings 2 spades, and he shows little strength, and the turn brings another spade, and he starts showing a lot of strenght he has made his flush. this is at the most basic level of reading opponents. |

Re: How do u read hands over the internet?
With the help of pokertracker and looking at the card on board, you can read a range of hand( depending on his betting patern) that he could have.
In the long run, you get the "feeling" |

Re: How do u read hands over the internet?
I posted something similar to the OP.
Someone said that you just get a feel. This may be true but there has to be a thought process that you go through to decide if your KQo that you raised on the cut off which gets 4 callers and then the rainbow flop 723 is checked around, do you read that as strength or weakness, if it takes 10K hands to get a hand on your own stats how can you predict someone elses actions if you have only played with them for 20 min? So the turn is a 7. UTG goes all in, Is he holding a 7, or maybe a 3x, what do you base these decisions on? |
