Villain here is a well known nut-job at the Canterbury 15/30 game. He will raise with ANYTHING and call down with a lot, but plays OK post.
2 limpers, nutjob raises in the CO, I 3-bet out of the BB with A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], one limper folds, nutjob 4-bets, I cap, limper calls. Flop: T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I bet, limper folds, nutjob calls. Turn (HU): A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I bet, nutjob calls. River: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I bet, nutjob raises, I puke and....... |

This is a definate call. Depending on how big of a maniac he is, I may even reraise him here. Chances are your hand is good, and he is going to pay you off with a weak Ace no matter how many bets it goes to.

With a pair of aces and a very good kicker, how could you not call against a nutjob???
You only have to be good 10% of the time here for the call to be correct. Your hand probably isn't good enough to re-raise though. |

IMHO calling is clearly better than either of your other options.

If his raise makes you puke then I assume you don't think re-raising is a good idea. So the only thing left is to pay him off.
It's not even close. You don't really think folding is an option here, do you? What's your question? |
