Do I suck at poker?
Somewhere around 33 straigt non money finishes some bad beat etc. avg. field size probably 400 - 500. Before that had a first and a third in pretty short time. I would guess around 45 - 50 career tourneys. Is possible is just variance dont know

Re: Do I suck at poker?
you can get better responses in the multi-table tournaments forum, but my answer would be yes.

Re: Do I suck at poker?
How can we know by looking at a sample size of 50 MTTs???? Post some hands( not stats) on the MTT forum and theyll help you out.

Re: Do I suck at poker?
Those are not results I would be happy with, but if you really want to get better, there are many avenues for improvement. Try moving down buyin levels and/or study the MTT forum or some books.

[ QUOTE ]
Somewhere around 33 straigt non money finishes [/ QUOTE ] depends, were they Sit n goes? all kidding aside, I think sit n goes would yield smaller variance and you wouldn't be asking this question. Just something to consider |

Re: Do I suck at poker?
The more i think i about it had they all been at the same buy in level I would probably actually be positive for the 50 tourneys. A couple were tv events but not the ones i did well in unfortunately. Im trying to think about the mistakes ive made and how to play better. I dont think im completely hopeless. I got slightly reckless in my play from a bit of early success i think. Got to get back to bit more conservative style.
