Default Pot odds or not?

I was thinking about the flop call. I was thinking that the pot would exceed 11 sb in the end. Which would justify a call? Surprisingly I got to see the river for free.
Is this play plain stupid?

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 handed)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, CO calls, Button calls, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (4 SB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB bets, Hero calls, CO calls, Button folds.

Turn: (3.50 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, CO checks.

River: (3.50 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, CO calls, SB folds.

Final Pot: 5.50 BB

Fold the flop. 5 to 1 is not nearly enough here(need 10 to 1 immediately or about 8 or 9 to 1 with implied odds), and there is the danger of the pot being raised behind you. Remember to (for the most part) stay away from these small small pots with marginal hands, especially when you don't have the odds to draw.

The pot might well exceed 11 sb by the end, but much of it would be yours. You need to look at the odds at the time of each bet, in this case 5/1. Even if you include some inplied odds, you need at leat 9-10/1 to call this gutshot.

when you estimate implied odds, you only include bets you can get from the other players right? Or is it what the final pot size will be? (this will include some of your bets)

That is true, I never counted some of the final pot as my bets (which probably would be 1-2 BB)
