Has anybody talked to Doyle about WPT bid?
Has anybody here had a chance to talk to Doyle about his bid for the WPT? Was the whole thing just a sham or what?

Re: Has anybody talked to Doyle about WPT bid?
I bumped into Doyle at the grocery store. We talked for about 2 hours in the yogurt section. Then we went back to his mansion and played a little 500/900 Omaha and he said he was still thinking about it.

Has anybody here had a chance to talk to Doyle about his bid for the WPT? Was the whole thing just a sham or what? [/ QUOTE ] "After the market close on Monday, July 11, 2005, WPTE contacted Doyle Brunson, the sole investor identified as a potential purchaser in the offer. Mr. Brunson suggested that WPTE should not expect any further contact regarding the offer. Assuming that no further contact is forthcoming, the offer will lapse by its own terms at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12, 2005. " Update on the bid here: Doyle's Bid Update |

Re: Has anybody talked to Doyle about WPT bid?
Let's just say that when you take Doyle for 800,000 dollars in 2 hours time he throws one heck of a hissy fit.
I was plenty correct to cap preflop with pocket twos Doyle, I turned the set! |
