Default 3rd street question

party 20-40 stud
I had 7d8d9d, but 4 dimonds and 3 Ts and 2 jacks are dead, there is a completion in front easy fold right?

Initially I thought: yes. But, if you count your outs, you have 6 outs to a flush, as well as 1 ten and 4 sixes for your straight, so you really have 11 outs, which is more than if you were playing a flush draw or a straight draw alone.

So, I might take card off if I thought I could get in for just the completion and it would be a multiway pot and the game was loose enough so I would get paid off if I made my hand.

i agree it is an easier fold unless its a loose passive game (which from my experience 20/40 at party isn't) so I would fold.

On the bright side, it sounds like 5's and 6's are completely live, as are 7's, 8's and 9's...

But I think looking for a bright side with this hand is a waste of money. The flush draw is dead, and the straight draw is, at best, on life support. Looking at a completion in front, I fold. I'd only take one off if it were for the bring-in, I was closing the action and the table was loose passive.

For a full bet, I think this is a muck. If the bring-in is $5, it might be close, but it's probably still a fold.
