Re: 65s crap BB hand, I hate the way I played this.
Ok, so he has 610 left when you push?
Here is what I think: First of all, your flop bet is fine. When he calls, he either has a straight draw, flush draw, or over pair. It seems as though you're ahead either way. What I would do here is bet the turn around 2/3 of the pot. Basically, if he calls the turn bet he is all in on the river because of the size of the pot. At least if he has a pair or something he will be. I don't know, I think the turn push is no good. Not extracting your hand's maximum value. Any other thoughts? |

I think your pf and flop play is correct. However, the push on the turn... what does that get you, if he has a flush he is calling you. I don't think that you need to bet to give poor odds b/c if he was chasing FD he hit... (I suppose some chase back door FD w/ and A in hole) so maybe another t120 bet, fold to a raise... I don't know... tough board

Re: 65s crap BB hand, I hate the way I played this.
I liked the way the OP played it.
A straight and a flush draw combined is frequently a favorite. Even against two pair. I would be afraid of seing the river and would bet to shut him down. A big bet or allin. All in is fine. -- tjh |
