Aces Up
I can't think off A hand I beat that villian would 3bet here with. Then again what hand is he 3betting with that he isn't open raising with preflop.

Re: Aces Up
I don't see why he couldn't hold AT or maybe even AJ and not bet preflop from early position.

Re: Aces Up
I would bet the turn instead of check-raising. You might wiff trying to check-raise if he played his draw heavily on the flop and you save a bet when he raises you.
He could have limped PF with JT or KQo, ATo, or is just a passive player. |

Re: Aces Up
True, I typically muck AT offsuit up front and open raise w/ AJ and AT suited. But it I guess it's no suprise when someone limps with either off those hands.

Re: Aces Up
You might want to consider folding the flop in a hard game, yes you have top pair but the bad kicker is just going to get you into trouble more often than not. I bet/fold that flop in a tight game for sure.
