Default Poker-edge poll and bannings

I know there is a heated rivalry about whether or not it is right for PE to be banned, but answer this poll.

Party did it to themselves this time.... they should not allow users to have access to hand histories if they are not playing in the game. Since they save the hand histories locally in a log, it is not the property of the end user, not Party. The end user can then use the HH as he or she feels.

Interesting note, PokerStars is ok with Poker Edge being used on their network. It just goes to show that Party is a victim of their own incompetence.

Your last two options are the same.

1 vote - I have never used PE and am against bannings.

That's funny. I think we can assume that, if the pattern were to continue, the 4th option should be changed to match your preference. Otherwise, those guys that voted option4 were just being contrary.

I know i know. LOL - I tried to edit it but the stupid timer had ran out so no dice on the edit.

haha, makes me think about probability forum whizzes... "Can a pattern truly be established after a sequence of one set of numbers? Can we truly identify the existence of a pattern after one set of variables?"

FYI, PE has a new version out that looks pretty safe from detection (doesn't show up in the task list or application list and installs in a non-descript location). It even supports a remote mode, running on a separate computer or VMware-like image, which would be completely undetectable.

Party just can't win going with their detection measures. They'll lose that technological battle. They need avoid making hand histories universally accessible if they want to make any real strides in preventing shared data mining.

Partyskins should have stopped hand histories for observers rather than going after their own customers using software like Poker Edge. Because of the way Party have gone about this I don't intend to return (I played at Party & Empire during June). This is irritating as I'm not getting VFM for PokerTracker now--at least with PE I could cancel the monthly subscription.
I see that PE are coming up with a Stars version but I'd be unsurprised if it went the same way as the Party version.
