The crucifixions were cool.

They only set the table tonight, letting you know who the main characters are, and who will be pitted against whom.

No witty dialogue, like you would find in Deadwood or Sopranos. The sex and violence is going to have to carry this thing--and the sex was certainly nothing to write home about tonight.

agreed. I thought it was great. I doubt it will be as good as deadwood because of L.O.S.
