Default Harrington on Hold\'em reviews?

Any reviews been done on this book? Or am I looking in the wrong section? [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

for what it's worth, the book is about NL tourney poker, which in general is short-stacked NLHE. this forum is kind of specifically for deeper stacked games.

might wanna try the "books and software" or "multitable tournaments" forums as well...

I disagree. Most of what is in HoHH, is written for the early stages of a major (multi-day) tournament, where the stacks are very deep. True, some of the examples have short stacks or are in tournaments like SNGs, but most of the strategy discussion assumes the stacks are deep and your only concern is to maximize chip EV - our concern for NL cash games.

I just finished it and enjoyed reading it. I'm not sure I agree with everything in there, but it was a very enjoyable read nonetheless. I'm looking forward to volume 2 for sure.

Don't have time to write a full-scaled review at the moment. sorry...
