Default Ed Miller says play 6-max, what do you think?

Recently Ed Miller wrote an article about how much more profitable 6-max limit tables are than the full tables. What is your take on this? Would you say the same about full and 6-max NL tables?

My take? If you're the sixth best player at a 6-max table or tenth best player at a full table, you're probably going to lose.

I tried 6max, lost about 25% of my bankroll. It's a tough game if you're not ready for it.

But you can make alot of money faster if you are the top on the table.

I think variance is a big part of the game too.

Of course 6max is more profitable since it increases the number of tough postflop decisions for all players. Since good players make these decisions better than poor players, it gives a larger edge to the better player.

Have fun with average 60+bb swings.

I would advise all tight aggressive winning 2+2ers to stay away from 6max, especially 10/20. but if you're new to poker, then 6max may be the game for you!
