Default 22s vs. 33s

Is this a big jump, or is the difference in better players not very noticeable?

Just move up, or try the $55s if you have the roll.

I have seen many posts recently about going straight to the 55s from the 22s if you have the bankroll and that there is a logjam of good players at the 33s. Personally, I'd give the 33s a few tries and see how you like them. They aren't much harder than the 22s and the jump to 55 can be a scary one.

I have the bankroll for 55s and am just jumping up to them from the 33s and it seems like a big jump (since I'm used to 11 dollar increments in SNGs). I couldn't imagine the jump going from 22s directly into the 55s.

Finally, through my limited experience at the 55s the quality of play, while not great, is much better than the quality of play at the 22s/33s.

With that being said, I personally cannot wait for the 109s.

Dont go from 22s to 55s, its retarded. Prove that you can beat the 33s first and then move up.

I think this is solid advice. While the quality in play may not be hugely different between 33s and 55s, it's still going to be different, and the 55s are going to be slightly tougher. If you're afraid of the 33s being tough, 55s are not the answer.

Like curtains said, prove you can beat them first, because if you can't you'll need a "raptor-esque" luckbox to beat the 55s.

Not saying it's necessarily all great players at the 30s, but the fact that you only have 800 chips and the players are harder than 20s SUCKS. If you are beating the 20s for 20% ROI you should be a solid, tight aggressive player and you can do better with more chips...

And from what I've seen so far the 50s is CHOCKful of donks...if you're worried about less donks, stop worrying.
