Live MTT A4s UTG+1 Short Stacked
8 handed.
Blinds are 400/800. Levels are 30 mins and we have about 15 mins left at this level. No antes. I have 5,500, 2nd shortest stack. All stacks to act nehind me are larger. Avg. stack size is 10,000. Top two get paid. A4s from UTG + 1. First hand at the final table but, everyone at the table except 1 guy has played with me before and should know how tight I usually am pre flop. My image is tight. In the last 30 mins at one of the two remaining tables I showed AQs that I had to throw away after a flop all in bet in front of me by a larger stack when the flop totally missed my hand and i read the all in as having me beat. Is it better here to just raise to 2,400 to give the perception of having a big hand you want action on, then put ther rest in on the flop depending on reads and the flop ? Or just shove all in pre flop ? Betting 2,400 leaves me 3,100 back which is large enough to chase out a drawing hand only on the flop if I only get 1 caller. Or is this a clear fold and wait for a better hand ? |

Well, your M is less than 5 and you will take the blinds in two hands. It's a pretty tough spot like betgo says, but I think you have to push. Anyone else?
